Floating on a Bubble Gum Cloud

As I've mentioned before, I work in a pharmacy. One of the pharmacists makes these lozenges that we sell in our mail-order pharmacy. He has to add a flavor to those lozenges, and so he uses bubble gum flavoring. That part of the pharmacy always seems to have a distinctive bubble-gummy smell to it.

Well, tonight that scent has followed me home. My sister is getting married on Saturday, and for the table decorations at her reception she wanted suckers. My mom and I spent most of this evening making said suckers. We made pink, yellow, and blue ones, because those are her colors. We also added flavoring. And the flavor my mom chose?

Bubble gum.

So now my work and my home have meshed into a lovely bubble-gum scented mind meld. Ah, bubble gum smell. How did I ever live without it?
