My sister plays handbells with the the Bells on Temple Square, which is a sister group to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, much like the Orchestra on Temple Square. For the past two and a half years, she has been a substitute with the choir, only playing when someone couldn't perform because of pregnancies, work, etc. She's been on permanent substituting since Christmas, so she has practices in Salt Lake every Wednesday nights. Well, she called not ten minutes ago to tell us that Brother Waldron, their director, pulled her aside tonight and told her he wanted her to be a permanent member of the choir, and that as soon as there was an open spot, it was hers. Yay for my sister! She is so amazing. So, in her honor, I give you some bell songs.
